A New (Temporary) Home

Yesterday I went to Tucson and emptied my pockets on a little guest house. I am so happy that I will have my own place again...after 2 very long months of being in limbo. Here are a few pics of the place...I forgot to take pics of the outside..but will get those today!I took pics of the bathroom, but being so small, they were
blurry. But it has a Tub, so that's wonderful.
The little house has been gutted and completely rebuilt, so EVERYTHING is brand spanking new, and spotless. The hardwoods have been stained and have many coats of shilac on them so they shine and are gorgeous.

3 Days in Tucson

I went to Tucson over the weekend, and I had a fabulous time..
I was supposed to stay with Masha, but that didn't happen, she and Sam were fighting.
I stopped at my favorite RV dealers lot..they close at 2 on saturdays, and I rolled into town at 2:15, I thought I would just peek thru the fence and see what they had, but they were still there, and let me look around. I fell in love with a Cedar Creek...so the dealer, that is normally closed on Sunday and Monday's, said he would come in on Monday morning and let me spend some time in the 5th wheel, and see how I really felt about it.
From there I went to Michaels, and did some shopping. The tot4e that I just bought a couple of weeks ago, was on clearance, so I bought another one, and the two little accessory totes that match. I got a couple of rubber stamps, a K&Company paper stack that was on clearance..I love K& Company paper! and some loose patterned paper, and a few other odds and ends.
Then I went over to Janice's and hung out with her for a bit..then over to ex husband #1's, and we went to Mamma Louisa's for Italian food..YUM!
From there I went to Alan's (the twins dad) which is where I stayed this trip.
Sunday morning I went to a AA meeting with Janice..then I went and found a few people who are trying to sell their house...I offered to help them ..free of charge..I need some credentials and credibility, for my plan...offering to help someone for free makes people suspicious, and it makes you seem totally crazy. So, I left them with my number and something to think about...we will see how that goes.
Then I went to the movies, and saw 'Public Enemies' with Johnny Depp..it was so good!
Then ex husband #1 and I wnet to the Red Lobster for dinner..YUM!
Monday morning I went back to the RV dealer and hung out in the 5th wheel...here are some pictures...

Cedar Creek

Fresh Ink

It's been 25 years since we got a new tattoo together...and it was time, we needed new memories before she leaves this world....and she will now be forever with me, since I had her name tattooed on my arm.
We went to Old Towne Tattoo in Tucson and I got mine, but because they wouldn't work on her because of the Hep C, they recommended that we go to Ancient Art to get hers done..owned by Dennis Dwyer, however we were told a very long time ago that he and his wife Gina had retired long ago...
that news turned out to be NOT true..they are both still working, and had we known, we would have both got ours there...we are both going to start getting the old tattoo reworked, and I am going to get the one on my leg finished as per my original plans. Probably start on that in the next month...
Janice had her color done in red..mine is solid black, since I am allergic to red ink.
Dennis is going to teach me to tattoo while I am wintering in Tucson, that is very exciting, since I have wanted to learn for many years.

Yep, you guessed it, all my dreams came true this weekend, when I got to finally meet the man of my dreams! The following video is when we met, sorry for the crazy video, I sat the flip down, but it got some great audio, and at the end, you see him putt6ing my card in his wallet! He bought my teeshirt for me....and signed that too..
I handed the girl behind me a camera to take pics, and she blew it, so I gave her the digital, and she had the greatest chance to get some really good pics, but none of them turned out....all white screen..I have no idea what button she was pressing! But oh well, I got some other really great ones, and sadly some that I can't post here, out of respect for Phil, you understand.
